Did The 2015 G80 3.8 V6 Ultimate Package Come with Fog Lamps?

I have a Metallic Blue RWD with 19K miles. I bought it as a Certified PreOwned Lease and was told it came with “Everything” by the Dealer. It does have everything but the Fog Lamps do not Come On and there is no switch I can see. ANY INPUT??

I Love this car and bought an Extended Warranty with Prepaid Maintaince Package for 10 Year/125K miles. I need new Tires as well and want to paint the calipers a soft Blue. I have stock 18” Rims and would Also like Input on What type of New Michelin’s to Buy?

I Am having Huge DEALER PROBLEMS AS WELL! After Purchase I added Paint Protection Package as well as every other option they offered. Paint Protection was put on over hard water stains. Dealer never Clayed the car before applying. Oil was BLACK when I got it home. I paid for a map upgrade and it was never done. This Dealer has 55 Yelp Complaints that are “Not Recommended”. He has 3 Yelp reviews and a 2.3 Rating. What is my Recourse?.

Yes. The 2015 Genesis Ultimate comes with fog lights. If yours doesn’t have, the radar in the grill, or proximity (4 circles across the front of the car) then I would assume you have the base trim? I may be wrong. Also I’m sorry to hear about the dealer issue that’s ridiculous. I would suggest googling better Hyundai/genesis dealerships with better review rating so your money can be well worth spent

Hi TriG80, Yes, I have the Radar in the front grill and there are two place below the grille for the lights. I just have never seen them come on! Another Dealer Issue. I live in Palm Desert, Ca and will switch your the Palm Springs Genesis Dealer. Beware the Genesis of La Quinta, CA and the Hyundai Dealer, They are one in the same. Any Ideas about the Replacement Michelin Tires? I have MXM4s and Michelin is giving me a 75% Credit for Premature Wear. I can get any Michelin I choose. Any Ideas?

If you have fog lamps the switch is on the stalk with your headlights switch. Plz report your results.

As to your other problems, go visit the dealership owner first thing in the morning.

I thought only the V8 ultimates had fog lights. I had had a 3.8, and had fog lights installed. I had a switch put below the dash near the drivers left knee to turn it on and off.

I did the same... works perfect and am able to run the fog lights all the time if I prefer (not just on low beams).

Only recourse I see is looking into what you are supposed to have. The 3.8 did not come with fog lights. It did come on the 5.0. This is from the 2015 brochure:

Fyi, it is illegal in some (all?) states to operate fog lights without having the headlights on.

I dont see how that can be when all the Hyundai cars I see now have theirs running 24-7

Hey so, I did a bit of research and no the 3.8 ultimate doesn’t have functioning fog lights, only on the 5.0 are functional for 2015. Also, I’m not 100% sure on the tired I would have to do a bit more research or read exactly what’s on the tires for accuracy.

Whenever I try to turn on the fog lights while the DRL’s are on it doesn’t let me do that function, I’m only able to turn on/off the fog lights if the headlights are on as well

For tires, you're in SoCal, so I would go with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

What online site did you get the fog lights? The space is there for them and I want to have them installed or do it myself. Michelin Pilot Sport 4s are on order as of this morning. I am going to paint the calipers Blue to match the car. Doing it after the tires go on. I bought Red Caliper paint as well.

I am composing a letter to Genesis Corporate regarding all the dealer problems and request a meeting with the owner of the Dealership to see if he will work with me and show him the letter before I send it. I’m hoping he will not want Corporate to come down on him and possibly lose his Dealership Rights to Genesis. He is also a Hyundai Dealer and does not know how to deal with people. He acts as the General Manager on a daily basis. Wish me luck!
Ps. I’m really glad I found this forum! I love my Jeni and am looking forward to replacing my Toyota RAV4 Limited AWD with a Palisade SUV in about 4-6 months.

Super vehicle overall. Simply the best out there. I have a ‘19 2.0 T Ultimate FWD. Great step up from the prior Santa Fe Sport model (my ‘14 SFS AWD is now in my Son’s driveway).

Be sure to drive the Santa Fe too after testing out the Palisade.

That's true for the 2015 models only.

In 2016, all trims except for the base 3.8 model came with the LED fog lights.
