Dark Chrome Badges?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has been able to find 'dark chrome' badges for the genesis logo? I looked on ebay and found black/carbon fiber ones:

I was thinking dark chrome would complement the sports package better. Not sure if its worth the effort though.

Our dark chrome is more of a bronze color though. Would be cool to find something like that.

Not these specific ones but I bought black ones from them for my last car and they faded within 6 months and I was told that was normal and having to buy new ones every 6 months wasn’t bad because 50 bucks is cheap. Also, others have had bad customer service in general, orders not shipping, no responses, etc. It’s one of those companies that if you google you’ll see threads from all over the internet telling you how hit or miss they can be. It’s a risk with them, is all I’m saying. I’d trust eBay more than them

trust me, I like them too! It makes me sad that they arent a better company because they have some cool stuff. Like I said, its hit or miss so I would encourage everyone to do their own research on them and do their own risk assessment if you want it bad enough. Buy with paypal so you can easily dispute the charges if you have to

I talked to my wrap guy, he mentioned that wrapping the wing inside would end up pealing over time. Best bet is to either wrap the whole thing or buy one that already has the CF in the wing part.

But I'm definitely wrapping the 3.3T and G70 badges lol

I'm thinking of doing a chrome delete on mine, wrapping everything black; wings, badges, boomerang, etc. Will get an estimate to see if it's worth the cost.

That's a fair point. Let us know if you ever find a legit CF one. I just dipped mine black and Effex clear coated mine which imo looks pretty nice when the sun hits right.
