  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Seen a few post pics on here and the stinger forum with the same harness I have for the RVM but no help with what wires are what. For some reason we have the diagram for what seems to be the non fully loaded trims but not the fully loaded one....or I just cant figure out how to match the two together because my harness has 8 wires and the diagram has 6. I also do not have a single red wire and the colors are not the same on the other wires too.

Anyone familiar with the 8 wire diagram or simply the ground and any wire connected to ignition switch in this particular set up? I wanna finish my wiretap and my shitty multimeter isn't helping.

Well got some help off stinger forum but cannot figure out which power wire to tap. 6 works but it doesn't cut off with ignition. Cant get the tap into 10 to save my life...

Use pins 8 (ground) and 10 (live) for the 3.3T Sport. Did it about a week ago and works fine. Pin 6 is always on (also noticed this when installing) so that won't work, but 10 is on with ignition.

I used 8 and 6 because I couldn't get my tap into 10 at all...6 works fine for me. I don't mind starting up my RD...its like a secondary switch to the ignition. Cut the car on, warm it up, then when you feel the need for speed, hit the nos switch (aka the RD power button) and you're good to go lol
