  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As the title implies. Planning on doing a chrome delete so would like to remove the handles to make it easier. Based on inspection there's a small screw on the inside of the handle when you open it, but I'm not sure if that's enough to remove the whole thing.

There's a thread on here of someone whose removed the handles for the same reason, but he's unresponsive. So I'm hoping someone else in the community has some insight.

If it is like most vehicles you will have to remove the door panels and there are 3-4 bolts on the inside of the doors that remove it, you will also have to remove the wiring connectors for the button lock function and the lock pin rods that lead to the latching and locking mechanism.

you can search YouTube, 99% of all vehicle door handles are attached the same way.
