That looks absolutely clean! What film did you use and %? Gotta see what's legal in my state.I tinted my taillights, just a very mild tint. I love it.

The lighting in the above pictures makes the change a bit more drastic than how it looks on person. But still, I think it's perfect.

yeah, you need to look up the laws for your stateYep, answered my own question,
Tinting headlights Or taillights is illegal in most states.... Beware!
Doesn't seem like it's noticeable enough for someone to pull you over. Unless they're just being a jerk. Did you do anything to your headlights?I went to my local tint shop who did my windows and got their lightest tint for the taillights. I have no idea what percentage it is...
Something light like mine makes it almost exactly the same darkness as new BMW's, Lexus, and Nissan's taillights. There is no way you'd get in trouble for it, no one would know, it's not dark enough to make it seem abnormal.
Here's an example. My wife's new Kia Seltos taillights vs my tinted taillights. Just now went outside to take the pics, so the lighting is the same...

Obviously the lighter silver makes it look like more of a contrast, but I wouldn't say it's anything a cop would notice.
Edit, here are some close-ups, my particular tint has a flat sheen, which changes the look a little bit as well....

Without the bright silver as a contrast, the lights really don't look much darker at all than my wife's car.

true that, I don't wanna get them too dark and get rear endedJust do them in the lighter shade of tint and you’re fine. The darker shade is too dark and you’ll probably attract cop attention. And you’re a dick for making it harder to see your brake lights. My local shop had 2 tint choices too and I got to look at them on cars. The light one is barely noticeable IRL and the darker one is a huge jump
I tinted my taillights + rear reflectors using Vvivid vinyl. Think It came out pretty good. Doesn't affect the brightness noticeably. Overcast today so not the best picture. Just have to see how this holds up in GAin the coming days.

That's what I'm going forOh dang - black on black on blaaaaaaaack.![]()
That's what I'm going forIn your opinion, what do you think would look nicer for vinyl wrapped chrome pieces? Satin black or CF (except maybe window trim. Think it'll look tacky) ?
