  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm curious about doing this to my 4.6. Do you have any pics?

Did you weld it up or clamp it?

No pics I took the car to my Muffler shop and they removed it and welded straight pipes only cost me 125.00.

Hey man, I’m thinking of doing the same or similar to my 2011 4.6. Don’t want any drone, and saving money is always a good thing most of the time lol. Does your set up have any drone? Did the resonator delete
make the car sound “better”? thanks man

I removed the resonator and the Stock mufflers they are like anchors attached to the rear of the car I went with MagnaFlow mufflers nice deep rich tone and no drone cruising on the freeway also increases HP car runs great and sounds good when you open it up.
