  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Santiago Silver. Proven to be the fastest. 😉

Anyway, @FrankieD - how exactly did you get things to change so you weren't getting screwed over?

I just stood my ground in all honesty...I told them I didn’t care how they made it work, but they needed to handle it. They got money from corporate and got all the numbers to work out.

I didn’t even threaten them with legal action, which I’m happy about

Red or gray stitching? If gray and AWD...my exact car 😜

Outstanding! I'm happy for you - this is the result that should have been in the first place. Your dealer and Genesis corporate certainly made things right.

I went back to look at the photos of your car you posted here and the windshield seemed to be installed. Not missing. Did they reinstall the windshield after the rain and before photos? There were numerous parts strewn about but the windshield was there. Or did you mean the back light?

Edit: Well done, you. New car, better model, happy customer. Please to not be searching online for the resale of your damaged car. That is a problem for someone else.

I agree. I’m glad that we got to this outcome without having the go to extreme measures

They had installed the windshield after the rain and before the pics. The parts that were all over the place were taken off because they were drenched i guess?

Nice! I figured @Beefer would be chiming in once that color was mentioned. 🤣

So would that car have a salvage title? Do you think they're going to try and sell it?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Congratulations! This is what they were supposed to do in the first place. Are you going to put Ganesh back above the shifter?

I just know that it was picked up by a company that deals with salvage, insurance auto auctions & sales. I'm not sure what they're planning on doing with it, but if they are going to try and sell it, that's just not right...but who knows?

If that's the case, it's going to auction.

As long as it is sold with full disclosure, there is always someone looking for a bargain and can get it going. Good deal, it comes with a brand new windshield!

It sill has good value for drive train and body parts.
