Small dimples in the Front bumper?

I noticed a row of small dimples in my front bumper today.They are all similar size, in a straight line, about 0.4cm in diameter .No paintloss, only depressions. I never had a front licence plate or anything like that. No bump or any accidents etc(knock wood). Has anybody noticed this? Shall I call the dealer?
 
They are indentation points for the front licence plate if you decide to put the front licence plate on.
