  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Here is the gist of the press release:

And here is this paragaph:

The very first two production-level GV80s and G80s have entered the United States. The very first two production-level GV80s were flown into the US in early August and the very first two production-level G80s were shipped into the US in late August to get them here in time to compete in two major “Utility and Car of the Year” competitions.

G80 and G90 sales are about what's expected, but the G70 continues to be outsold by the aging IS, as well as the niche liftback Stinger.

Presently the G70 is touted as being Genesis' best seller, but in about a year and a half's time, expect it to fall to 4th, only ahead of the G90.

In a surprise, BMW manages to bump Genesis for the 3rd spot on the podium last month in Korea by a narrow margin (note, BMW has a more extensive lineup), with Mercedes taking the 7th spot and Audi, 9th - but Genesis still with a significant lead YTD.

Genesis - 7,062 (67,067 YTD)
BMW - 7,252
Mercedes - 6,030
Audi - 2,022

Genesis sales for the month are below that what the G80, alone, has been selling in Korea.

G80 - 4,100 (33,093)
GV80 - 1,810 (21,826)
G90 - 704 (6,496)
G70 - 448 (5,652)

K9 - 579 (5,514)
Mohave - 1,361 (14,001)
Stinger - 195 (1,870)

Sales of both the G80 and GV80 saw a marked decline from that of previous months (sales still well ahead of the German competition) - which is likely due to a no. of factors, most notably the shifting of a good portion of production for overseas markets.

Saw a similar decline in Palisade sales in Korea when production started for overseas markets.
