Hey everyone! Picked up my '14 Ultimate earlier this month. Boy, I tell you finding a 14+ Ultimate was not easy. Picked up in Atlanta and drove back to DC. 140k Miles but I went ahead and got a PPI and this thing is in amazing condition. Amazing service history too.

I immediately de-badged and put tints on it. Thinking about a Satin White wrap and blackout all chrome in the near future.

congrats!! the looks your going to get because the car isn't dated and most people don't know what they are. Enjoy. The blackout on the rear equus is a must. Looks clean

Question, has anyone figured out a way to play videos in the front while driving? Can an electronics specialist do the job?

Funny thing is before I bought one a pro football player I knew had on. When he drove up I asked him how long he had his Bentley. He looked at me and said, that's a Genesis...well, it was an Equus that a dealer gave him in exchange for endorsements. The car looked amazing. I got mine about a year after that.

I had a Genesis before that and it had the same system as in the Equus. There was a Korean KDM ECU flash that I came across but never tried it. You will most likely have to look on the old Genesis forums for the trick. I remember seeing the procedure posted sometime around 2014 or 2015.

yes, it's called nav-tv/video in motion. about $500 and a car electronics shop can install or you can try yourself

Wow! 20% how do you get away w that? Here in AZ its against the law for any tint on the windshield. Except for a banner. Looks great though.

I get that question all the time. Lol. It's definitely illegal here as well. I've been tinting windshields on my cars for years in different states (NYC/PA/VA/MD and DC) and surprisingly I've never gotten hassled for it. Also, DC does Emissions but doesn't do inspections so that's another thing I don't have to worry about.

I already took it on vacation as it is such a comfortable cruiser. The trunk space is awesome, and the ride comfort made the trip an absolute breeze.

Recently joined the Equus crew after years of waiting. Purchased my first Equus in Sept 2020 after patiently waiting for one to present it self with the right mileage and year. Immediately after purchase I slapped a full coverage warranty on it! This vehicle is everything I thought it would be EXCEPT for no remote start!? lol - still happy...might be something I purchase and have installed

Very nice, congrats! For remote start, you have to register with the bluelink and subscribe for the remote plan

so its already enabled on the car? I've tried to get one installed and everyone said it's best not too

I was reading up on bluelink eariler. most say remote start works but there is a delay? sometimes upwards of 5 min?...can anyone chime in with their experience?
