Limp Mode.

2011 4.6. Driving today got a check engine light. Lost most of the cars engine power pulled into a close business. I checked codes on scanner got a P2101 for Throttle Actuator Control Motor and a P2106 Limp Home Mode. Car starts and runs but sounds like crap, won’t rev up. Noticed that there is very little stopping power with the brakes also. Anyone had this issue? Seems like bad throttle body/throttle sensor?
Have not found much online for the Genesis with this issue. Any help would be appreciated
I have the battery disconnected until morning to see if anything resets itself

Found the issue. The rubber boot that attaches to the throttle body was put on improperly and cut the boot. A piece of the boot was caught in the throttle body flapper holding it partway open and causing the issue

interesting i just has the same experience, had it towed to the dealership and they reset the sensors. After resetting they said there were no problems, a bit worried to drive it as I commute 60 miles round trip to work

Just to be clear, this was a vacuum issue?

It was right where the air enters the throttle body. Not a vacuum issue per se. when I put the peddle to the floor it sucked the broken piece into the throttle body.
