BlueLink in Canada

Hi,

Can anyone confirm if Canadians can use BlueLink on a 2015/16 Genesis Sedan?

I was very interested in the remote start feature but I looked at an Ultimate the other day and instead of the "BlueLink" button under the jogstick, it had a "Setup" button.

Do software updates provide the BlueLink functionality on either the Tech or Ultimate package for those years in Canada?

Sorry but you cannot get BlueLink on the 2015/16 Genesis sedan in Canada as far as I know;

My 2015 Genesis Ultimate 5.0 has "setup" button on the center console like you mentioned and needs to have the "BlueLink" button;

Back when I purchased the car in March 2019 phoned Hyundai Canada and they confirmed that only Genesis branded sedans starting with 2017 year had BlueLink;

Ah, so a 2017/18 G80 will have it then? The connected services website leads me to believe only the 2019 G70 has it.

You need to phone Hyundai Canada to confirm...I thought some of the models of the Genesis brand had the feature in Canada as of 2017...

FYI: I have confirmed with Genesis Canada that my 2017 G70 Technology package (jog wheel) sedan can not get either Blue Link or Genesis Connect.

I wonder why they called it the "technology" package?
