Similar. The trick is to fit the hole but it works the same.

Definitely the middle. I feel your pain. Move to a state where you dont need one or to a state where you CV an get rid of it!

I am needing front license plate frame for my G80, since in TX you are required to have one in the front of your car. I need one with no screw so I don't ruin the front, any recommendations? There was a guy who recommended Store | Sly Brackets but this is way to expensive for just a license plate holder, so does anyone know where I can get something similar but cheaper?

If I recall when putting mine on, the drill holes were in a darker, recessed area and didn't really stand out if the plate frame were to be removed. If you did remove it, you could fill the holes with black silicone. Unless you plan on moving out of the state, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm in Dallas, I get it.

Edit: we have a different grill... so I really can't say. Yours may be harder to hide holes.

Do you plan to move to a state that has no front plate? If no, you'll never see the holes. The factory plate makes two small holes in the grill dross bar and of course the plate covers them.

I did move to a state with no plate and I never notice them but they can easily be filled. The price difference will buy a good steak and adult beverages, but it is your choice.

Not planning on moving, no. But I will check the front of the car to see if I can find those holes. Thank you sir

On my car, I had to line the plate bracket up and drill them. But yes, small.

In any event, I have a bracket I took off of my 2017 G80 if you want it.

When I took it off I bought little black plastic fasteners like these to push into the holes...they are hard to see once installed

I just took mine off and roll the dice, so far so good!! Love my Polar Ice!!
