  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I signed the papers for a v8 tech almost 2 weeks ago now. I want black ext, cashmere int. No available cars and have to wait for one to appear. I had ordered my last two cars to order - Hyundai says they don't do that and have to keep an eye on the assignments coming out. Oh well, I am set on those colours and am happy with my choice of car.

Oh, and one other thing. Would like to say thanks to all who contribute in here. I was headed towards a Caddy CTS or Lexus IS350. The Genesis is a fantastic car and value. Thanks to all that have pointed out it;s benefits (and short coimings) during my journey of choosing my next auto steed! THANKS ALL!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

The importer (HMA - Hyundai Motor America) orders the cars from the factory far in advance with various trim levels and colors they think dealers want. With some automakers (like Toyota) the regional distributors do the importing directly to them and they make the decisions and order from the factory, but I suspect that it is HMA for Hyundai.

That's great news! The fun I've had driving this car exceeded my expectations.

I see you too are in WC, did you got to WC Hyundai or another one? Get a good deal?

I actually used the one on US19 off 54 which is owned by the same folks as the WC one. I used the USAA car buying service (which this dealership duo was not a part of but they said they would match). I am out the Tarpon Springs way frequently and of course like the convenience of the one in WC. I got a fully loaded V8 Genesis 2010 model for $38,500.

Any particular reason for not using the WC one? Gonna buy one in the next month, just want to find the right dealer for black on black 10' V8 tech.

@ gators241987: No, they are owned by the same folks and will of course be getting my servicing done there. My folks live out in Tarpon and my Mum had one of those flyer offers to come in for a test drive and get a prize ($5 gift card to Target). That's what got me in the door over there and from there on, my car buying relationship was with them. As I mentioned same owners and I think they are good dealerships from what I have seen, and how I was treated. If it had not been for the flyer I would have been start to finish using the WC location. I had mentioned using the USAA car buying service. I think the car buying service on overstock.com uses the same engine. Good luck with your car buying purchase - what a fantastic car!!
