  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

ok guys, after living with the 2015 model for a week, just trade it back in to get a 2013, here are some of the things I observe.

2013
+/- seats are higher up
++++The Lexicon truly truly shine in this frame
+Usable Bluetooth streaming meaning no more lags or delay in audio and video
+less wind noise from window
+an actual usable moon roof (see below)
+less creeks and rattle
-2013 R-spec ride rougher than 2015 with continuous damper
-no automatic trunk
- style...lets face it, its not as cool looking as the new gen
-steering wheel is hard, you can defintely feel the road

2015
+improved engine and transmission, albeit not by much
+continuous damper, works pretty nice to soak up the bumps
+better body control when in twisty
+seat cooler seems to work faster
+A/C seems to work better, the CO2 is a cool feature
+automatic trunk
+adaptive high beam
+steering wheel is light and nimble
-road noise and wind noise, forget the stupid moonroof, it just buffer wind and it absolutely unusable
-The lexicon in here is trash, anyway you tune it, it just not good
-the bluetooth actually sucks, delay in audio and video...wtf

all in all, I am pretty damn happy I made the "downgrade"...which lead me to wonder...what happen? did they spent all their money on the Lotus engineer and fire their audio engineer people?

To each his own, I agree with you on some points however I disagree on others, for example the wind noise, I found the 2015 to be a tomb in comparison to the R-Spec assuming you stayed within the V8 family.

Having said that, I did missed my R-Spec terribly for months after her untimely death, but did learn to live with the extra weight and sacrificing the audio quality a bit, in return for AA / CarPlay.

yep V8 all the way, Maybe my car was a defect, but there was wind noise from the driver side (not sure for passenger) and the moonroof was really unusable unless you want to blow out your ears.

I found one with 65k, so happy, immediately return the 2015. It is riding hard though, I'm curious if a set of tires and changing out the non-rspec springs and strut would help.

One other suggestion that might help to smooth the ride and sort out some of the unsettled ride elements, as it did for some of us:

UNIQ Rigid Collars

imo the 12-14 has a much more classic big booty sedan body style to me is a timeless design that i actually prefer. also the 12-14 has 10hp more but 7tq less the big difference is the 400 lbs weight difference which is noticeable apon acceleration.

I figured out that the dealership put 42psi in each tire...after I got it down to 32...ride much more like my 2009 version albeit very slight rougher..
