  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looking at buying either a 2020 or 2021 model year with the prestige pkg. I'm in negotiations with two different dealers. Any difference (outside of the packages) of these two model years?

Major differences in the chassis, style, etc. You'd do well to get brochures on both for differences as many changes that cannot be seen in the photo.

I think you may have misread what i was asking. 2020 and 2021 are the same styling, engine, and chassis. I would assume there would be only small changes to features.

For the G80, there are major changes between 2020 and 2021. I think that maybe for the G70 those changes are still a year or two away?

You are correct

Are there any changes on the g70 from 2020 to 2021 then? Even small changes?

From looking at the packages, the only thing I see different is the Elite package is now standard on the 2021 when you order the Prestige package.

Was looking into the same thing, from what I found there are no new features besides the elite package being standard on the 2021 models and the 2021's being available with a 3D digital gauge cluster, but I believe you'll have to step up to the sports package in order to option in the 3D digital gauge cluster.

Thank you. That's exactly what I was thinking too.

I believe the 3D gauges are only available on the upcoming 2022 G70 restyle

They are available on the 21 G70's (Ive seen a few 21 G70 3.3t Sport with that option at a few Genesis dealers in the US, not too many though). It seems to be a pretty new feature genesis put into the 21 G70 packaging, I don't even think the configurator gives the ability to equip that, but it is definitely an option to put the 3D digital gauge cluster in the 2021 G70's. From what Ive seen, the 3D gauges on the 21 G70's doesn't really have any additional features besides being a full 12.3" LCD screen with '3D' capabilities, I don't think it even comes with the blind view monitor.
