Bouncy Speedo anyone?

Not that kind of speedo people. I'm talking about the speedometer.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. At about 70-80 mph on the freeway, I noticed that when going over vibrational sections of the road or small bumps, my speedometer starts to bounce around by about 2-3 mph like it's just floating in the gauge cluster. I've never had a car do this before, and it only happens when the needle is pointing near vertical. Has anyone else had this happen?

might be a transmission issue, does your vehicle kinda jerk around into gear?
or a vehicle speed sensor getting dirty.

Nope. Smooth as hell. No errors, no jerks. Just when the needle is almost vertical and I hit small bumps that vibrate.

Maybe some problem with the servo for the speedometer in the instrument cluster? I wonder if there is a mechanical damper and it has broken?
