  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Interesting stuff. Does anybody know what the "electronic headrest" is supposed to do in a case like this? I'm watching closely for some motion or something, but don't really see anything happening other than it whipping forward. Or, does it only react in a rear collision? They make a big deal about it in their literature, but nobody seems to know anything about the headrests...

Yes, it is whiplash protection. Volvo calls theirs "WHIPS" for whiplash protection system.

It breaks my heart to see those fine cars destroyed.

Hi guys I am new here and bumping an old thread. I just bought a certified 09 sedan manufactured 11/27/08, 3 days before "December". From what I understand hyundai made changes to both the front airbag and around the ignition button, does anyone know if these changes can be retrofit into a pre-December car? I've really asked around the dealerships no one seems to know, and I did a search here and this was the closest thread that popped up. I figured perhaps some of the members here know.
