2021 G80 Aftermarket CD Upgrade

Is is possible to purchase an external CD player and connect it to the present 2021
G80 ”prestige” sound system? Though I am presently uploading my CD’s to FLAC and then onto some USB’s , it would be a nice option to select a CD to play on the road without scrolling through menus.

I'm sure its possible to add a CD changer in the trunk or glove box.
CD quality is obviously great, but seems like a lot to spend on outdated technology.
I have 99% of my CD collection uploaded to YouTube Music and I just stream it with Bluetooth or Android Auto.

Why bother messing with an external CD player?

The CD sound quality would be diminished compared to the USB files due to the type of connection(AUX phono type) the aftermarket CD player will use to interface the stock system. Plus, it may be easier to manage your playlist that is loaded on a USB, than swapping CD or skipping tracks on a CD player when changing music on the fly while driving.
