14 R SPEC HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT ISSUE

I accidentally collided a heavy tool on my right side high pressure fuel pump plastic electric female connector which broke one of the connector wires in the socket I would love to replace the connector on pump by itself without spending a fortune on a brand new high pressure fuel pump I think snap ring pliers can do the trick The problem is where to find an exact match replacement high Pressure Fuel Pump Converter Electrical plastic connector on plug Any ideas guys??? I need help Check out pictures Second picture is for a new one on Ebay

It's called a Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve(FPRV) unfortunately the dealership doesn't sell them as separate items They want to make sure I spend a fortune buy the actual 800 dollar pump even though my High Pressure Fuel Pump itself is fully functional This is driving me nuts They say warranty doesn't cover that Thanks for the help anyone guys. I am quite sure there's a way to carefully replace that plastic electrical male socket connector on pump before you enter the FPRV solenoid area with a snap ring plier without tampering with the FPRV solenoid or High Pressure Pump functionality or working condition It's just one connector wire disconnected and a wiggling lose plastic male socket the High Pressure Pump is in Excellent Working Condition

I have a complete high pressure fuel system with all injectors, both pumps and connectors I can separate out and will sell you just the pump.

The fuel system is of a 2012. But all of the connectors are the same still. I've got every part from a tau 5.0 from valve covers to oil pan.

Do you have any idea if that electrical plastic connector plug on pump can be transferable with snap ring pliers without tampering with the valve solenoid or functionally of the high pressure fuel pump itself??? You know like in a rebuild or remanufacturing setting

No way to remove just the connector. Looks like I have the driver's side pump. Passenger side pump has a damaged connector.

You see the funny thing about my high pressure fuel pump itself is that it functions perfectly when that one broken contact terminal wire is touching circuit or even not touching circuit but it gives me a DTC code 0090 See picture below

Really needed to give that connector a shot because for the 2014 Genesis R Spec Sedan High Pressure Regulator part number us 35320-3F240 while as for the 12&13 R Specs the part number is 35320-3F230 nevertheless the Selonoid connectors are exactly the same

Left or Right pump it wouldn't matter

This may work, it's a key set for removing wires from connectors. You may be able to use it to put the wire back in.

Thank you Steve2020 Am give it a shot for sure I knew there's has to be another way to resolve this without spending a fortune at the stealership(dealership) If some people can rebuild this whole pump then there must be a solution to this simple lose connector wire issue Soldering almost crossed my mind

If worse came to worse you may be able to cut the connector along with several inches of wire from a car in a junkyard. Cutting and splicing into factory wires would be a last resort if you can't fix it any other way but it beats the $800 you were talking about.

That's for sure Steve I just put my order in Amazon said tomorrow So I will most definitely give it a shot It's that plastic electrical connector wire It's wiggling on one wire nevertheless the high pressure fuel pump itself is fully functional besides the check engine light with DTC code 0090 I have faith it will be resolved without going through the replacement stress by me or the stealership
