18’ G80 Parking Assist Malfunction Alert

Hello guys, today I started my car and all of a sudden when I shifted to R an alert popped in the gauge cluster “Check System” (see attachments)

it’s about the front parking assist not working.. the front sensors are not covered with PPF, so maybe because of stone chips from the roads it malfunctioned?.
I live in Saudi Arabia so we face a lot sand/small stone storms in the roads we travel.. any advice or explanation of the cause?

The sensor with code ending C12402 looks like it is a little pushed in and dented.
