  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have owned or operated many cars/trucks in my life. Some have been great, others have been sh*t, and everything in between. After a year with this car, it still surprises me, the amount of detail that went into this thing. I had not washed this car in quite some time as it's rained a lot in LA recently. As I washed it today 2 things stood out, both are subtle features that you only find when you live with a car.
1. Aerodynamic sunroof detail to channel wind and keep noise low.
2. Plastic louvered wheel well to reduce back pressure at rear tire well.

I've owned cars that cost 3 times what the Hyundai cost and weren't half as good.

You left out the end of that saying: "... in the summertime."

Winter is the rainy season is SC and it can rain quite heavily.

We have been mired in a bad drought for about 5 years. This winter we have been getting pounded (as has most of the country). But bad weather here means torrential rain. Bad weather in the midwest is a whole other league. It's 75 today and sunny. I cleaned the pool.

Unless of course you happen to live in the hills, and your house starts moving in a mudslide.

It was raining when I landed in San Diego Saturday (6 Mar). It was raining when I went downtown for dinner that night. It was raining when I went to the airport Sunday morning to catch my 7 AM flight to Reno via LA. It was raining so bad that the inbound commuter from LA went missed approach and diverted back to LA, leaving all of us scrambling to re-book. As far as I can tell it rains all the time is SoCal!!

It depends... If you catch it during a bad time, it can be really bad. But most of the time it's like this...
So Cal Forcast
