I ordered the 2022 launch edition in Melbourne Grey on May 4th and will be picking it up tomorrow (June 7th). Quite a bit of time and lots of nail biting.

Yeah man I’ve been wanting this car and I ordered it in black and Sevilla red on June 3rd, I can wait a month honestly that’s not too too bad at least you’ll get to run in the tires this summer as well

Congrats man! I'm jealous that in Canada they have the Sevilla red available on the Sport Prestige in most exterior colors. In the US, we only get it on the limited production Launch Editions with only 2 Matte exterior options. And Canada still has the power trunk lid option!!! I need to buy mine from Canada!! lol

Haha yeah man! initially I was told that the red would only be available for the launch edition in Canada as well but then it got clarified that its available with almost all exterior colours and that was the best news honestly! Its my first time buying a genesis so I wanted it exactly how I imagined it to be!

I ordered my GV70 on Sep 14th, 2021. I have not heard anything yet. Not even VIN is generated.

If you're ordering brand new from the factory, my dealer said 3 to 4 months

only a handful of new G70's come up on Autotrader in Canada. and some of these "new" vehicles appear to actually be demos with mileage on the clock.

plenty more used/certified examples to be had, but if you gotta have new you pretty much have to factory order. this has been the case for the most part since the G70 launched. my pre-order took ~5-6 months if memory serves.
