Multi-Genesis Owners?

I was wondering about the Genesis ownership among our members? Who are multi current owners? Who have had other Genesis vehicles? We are on number five, but it’s the first time we’ve had two at the same time. How ‘bout y’all?

this is my 4th Genesis and my first SUV

This is my 4th Genesis. I've had a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0, 2015 Genesis G80 5.0, 2018 Genesis G90 5.0, and now a 2021 GV80 3.5TT Advanced. While I've had as many as 3 BMW's at the same time when I had more garage bays at my CT house, we don't have as many here in FL so I only get one Genesis at a time. For the record, the G90 was the best price performance I've experienced with Genesis but the GV80 makes more sense in a 2 car garage these days.

To extend this a little, has your experience sold any other Genesis cars to your family or friends? My sister now has one and so does another friend.

A 2011, 2015, 2019 and my present one which I'm very happy with. As a side note a 2015 Sonata and a 2019 Santa Fe. Yep they make good cars.
My best friend liked them so much he bought a Genesis.

I purchased a new 2021 g80 3.5 prestige in January, was so impressed that I purchased a GV80 3.5 prestige for the wife.

We are both very happy with the purchases so far.

I can’t answer for omcene, but I can answer for me. We just traded a 2018 G80 Sport for our 2022 G70. I loved driving the G80, but preferred my GV80. Now that we have the G70 it’s an even tougher decision. Each does the job it was designed for so well that they’re both great to drive. Each one makes me want to try out the other - they’re both winners, as was the G80. Genesis is hittin’ it outa the park! Talk about being spoiled.

2021 G80 (traded 2013 Lexus GS) and 2021 GV80 (traded 2016 Lexus RX). Our first Genesiss. Both cars are wonderful. (The dealer folks still refer to us as the "Lexus couple".) The G80 is what the 2021 Lexus GS should have been if they hadn't stopped making them. (We didn't want a lame-ass FWD ES.) As for the GV80, Lexus pissed me off because after five years of complaining to the dealer and corporate they STILL couldn't fix the drivetrain drivability problem endemic to the 2016s. They just told me to sit down and color so here we are.

I told my service manager the other day that the only thing better than having a GV80 or a G70 was having a BOTH of them.

I liked how G80 drove in comparison but that was a very short drive to make a solid decision. Otherwise, GV80 felt better in interiors and space.

I brought my first Genesis in 2009 , traded it in 2017 and brought a G80 , and I am going to buy the GV80 in a couple of months . Will still keep the G80.

You really need to decide if you want a sedan, or a SUV. It is like choosing your favorite child, you can't go wrong with either.

I will have both in a couple of months the Sedan and the SUV, just waiting for my color Green to come in. This way I don't have to choose.

This is my 3rd Genesis... love the brand! only issue I’ve ever had was on my 2012Genesis yr 2 my trans went out. Service was great .. they apologize, gave me a rental and repaired the car! No charge to me whatsoever. In 2016 I traded in for new Genesis no problems at all! Now I’m loving my GV80!

We've owned: a 2009 Genesis sedan, 2015 G80. Presently own a 2016 Equus & a 2020 G80 sedan. Plus have owned several other Hyundai cars going all the way back to a 2002 XG350.
