  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

31 mpg 3.3 AWD!

The difference was 0.22. I think the computer always reads a little high. I know the speedometer says about 1 - 2 mpg high when I go through those radar signs. 5% off means they're screwing me out of about 1500 miles on a 30k lease. 😡
.22 disparity is the closest I’ve seen. Only 700 miles on ours and I was getting a bit better than 26 on both ways of a 160 mile round trip yesterday. Wish I could do that well on the 3.5 in the GV80, but, oh well.

Wait, you got 31 on the 3.3? I can't even do that with the 2.0.

You descending mountains for those 2 tanks?

No. Rolling terrain windey roads across the UP. Plus a handful of pretty high speed passes. I think the sweet spot is just under 70mph without the cruise control. On the trip out west earlier this year, I was coming down the mountains and saw that kind of mileage and attributed to the downhill run.
But this last trip, I was amazed so I had to comment on it here. In part because it seems a little contrary to a lot of the posts about mileage on here.

On the trip out west it did 27 - 28 mpg @ 80+ mph

With a 3.3T AWD, I got around 27 mpg over a 3000 mile cross-country trip.

if you can stay out of boost, you can get "great" gas mileage. On an OK to CO trip, i got around 28ish a tank with speeds between 70-100mph and not doing any spirited aceelerations. In the CO mountains, I got ~26 going up and down them. Untuned and comfort/eco mode
