Researching Extended Warranty for 2020 G80 ULIMATE

After two years and only 10k miles from new I am thinking I should have bought the the extended warranty at purchase time. So now dealer quotes $3500 for the Platimum protection plan from Manufacturer. Any thoughts on this price? I imagine 3rd party options will be less expensive but feel motivated to go with Genesis as I wish no discussion if a claim is made.

Do some searching for other threads. The warranty can be bought from any dealer and a couple saved a bunch from one of them mentioned. Perhaps it will be brought up here again but if not, it is on other threads.

Do you think you will keep the car past five years? If not, you don't need it. If you do, that $3500 in the bank will cover a pretty big repair.
