Trunk Mat and Accessory Help

Hey everyone,

I am picking up my 2022 G70 in just under two weeks and I have been looking for accessories. Genesis sells Mud Flaps for the front and rear ($110 CAD) each along with a roll out bumper protector. I have found floor mats already but have been trying to locate a trunk mat that would work for all weather since I am in Canada.

I came across this trunk mat 2019-2022 Genesis G70 Reversible Cargo Tray (F002) and it says it works for 2022 but when I search the part number everything else comes up as compatible up until 2020 only. I assume the trunk hasn't changed but does anyone have this mat (looking for feedback) and does anyone know if it is actually compatible? Genesis sells one on their site with no photos for $250 Canadian which seemed high to me.

Also, the genesis parts and accessories website has mud guards just for the rear but not the fronts. Anyone know where I can get both sets cheaper than from Genesis or should I just buy the accessories directly from them.

Just checking - did you look at your order or window sticker to make sure the Cargo Tray wasn't added? When I was looking for my 2022 every G70 I looked at had this accessory listed. I am US so maybe that is the difference.

I have not seen the car in person yet. It is somewhere in transit between Vancouver and Toronto right now as far as I know. As far as I know the USA and Canada have different packages even when equipped the same (heated rear sets, power trunk etc)

I don't know if it would fit your '22 but I have a Genesis reversable mat for my '21 G70. I didn't realize it was reversable until after purchasing a rubber mat elsewhere.

Thanks! The sides don't look very high on the rubber side. If something spilled would it leak over the edges? Also, I imagine that the trunk hasn't changed but that this would fit a 2022. I guess there is no way to know right?

Also I am in Canada, so not sure how we can deal with shipping unless you are here as well.

The sides on the rubber side seem high enough to prevent spill over. The mat is well designed. Had I known the mat was reversable, it would have been my choice over the Weathertech trunk mat. I suppose your Genesis dealership would have '22 G70 with the mat. They usually add it as an accessory to make more money on the sale.

Don't know about shipping, I am in Durham, NC.

I think by the time you ship it that it might end up costing the same as buying it here. I am going to take a look at the mat they have when I pick up the car next week. I will keep you updated and if it doesn't work out we can talk logistics.

You will love your G70. I recently ordered Tuxmat floor mat made in Canada. They were shipped from CA on Tuesday. I'm not sure how long it will take to clear customs, but I'm really looking forward to installing them. They look like the perfect accessory for the G70. We do a lot of hiking and carpet floor mats don't work for us. We've always used Weatertech in the past but the Tuxmats look superior.

I have had TuxMats on my cars for years. They are my favourite mats and way better than Weathertech. I just ordered a set for mine. Their head office is a short drive from my home. You will love them when you get them.

Both the 2021 and 2022 G70's has 10.5 cubic feet of cargo space. I assume the shape has not changed.

Can't really say without seeing (or even measuring) both trunks. I know you haven't gotten yours yet but a pic of the trunk would help. People here would be able to at least visually tell you if it's the same.
