Bummer about the radio stations. I was really hoping they were going to fix that issue.

Installed this update on my G70 today. New graphics look great (especially love the radio), but I would give it all up to change back to a quick tap to activate Siri when using CarPlay rather than now having to hold down the voice control button for several seconds what an idiotic change. To make things worse, when I tap the voice control for Siri like I normally could, it takes me to the in-car voice control screen, and when that finally goes away it exits CarPlay altogether!

Not really some feature changes mostly.

I updated my 2015 with the premium navigation system (9.2" screen and DIS knob) a couple of days ago. It mostly looks like a few minor changes so far. It did get rid of the traffic camera icon in the DIC that was caused by an error in the last update.

It seems like they do a major update every couple of years that changes the look of the interface and adds features (and usually includes at least one annoying UX change). The six month updates between these are usually pretty minor.

Found it thanks, Do you know if i have to delete all the files that are on there or should i leave as is? i have about 29gb available on it its a 32gb sd card but theres stuff like "data" "text.info" not sure if i need to wipe the entire thing...

If you us the Navigation Updater just stick in the conputer and the program will take care of it.

Just updated my 2015 Genesis w/ 9.2 jog dial using the NAU updater. Mind you, this is the first update the car has had since 2015 (I bought it a couple of months ago). I was really surprised to find that I didn't have to go to system info > update as expected. I just popped the SD in, the unit restarted and the new maps were there. When I tried to go through the update screen, update was greyed out. I'm wondering if I did something wrong, or if I'm on old software. The map version updated to 13.something from the previous 6.5, but I'm still on S.W VER 10.002. Shouldn't I have a newer software version? Which S/W are y'all on? Do I need to order a USB to update the software?

Thanks in advance for the help. These forums are awesome. Saved me a ton of money when I found out the Sirius XM issue here. The dealer tried to get me to pay $2900 for a new unit.

The 2015 Ultimate head unit requires using a USB stick inserted in the USB port for the initial update of software. You should receive both a USB stick and an SD card or just use your old SD card. Without the USB stick the Update button remains grayed out. Once updated for the first time the subsequent updates are via the SD card. I suspect you are seeing the new maps but are not seeing the updated software.
