Can you change the radio in a 2011 Hyundai Genesis sedan?

I have a 2011 Hyundai Genesis sedan 3.8 and the sound quality is terrible. I need to change it asap. I can’t find any dash kits online. Only kits i find are for the coupe. I was wondering can you even change the radio. If so, what aftermarkets stereos fit and which dash kits would i need. Links would be helpful as well.

Hi, I got this installed and everything works great. I have all the car temperature controls working and the Apple CarPlay is amazing. A few photos of the car post-install.

What do you mean knob control? Mine had the knob control too, but the function transferred over to the tablet.

That was fast, in looking at your pictures, I did not see the center console controls. Did the installer remove these? What do you mean by "tablet"? Isn't your phone via bluetooth the connected device?

Got it, I think you have the V8 Genny? Not sure if it'll work on this, but in my car the controls such as volume, and radio etc are now via the tablet. The steering wheel controls work as well.

I however think you'll lose the functionality of that center console with the tablet since yours already comes with navigation etc. For me the CD player and XM functions are gone.

Unfortunately No, there does not seem to be a solution for this replacement to enable apple car play. As the car continues to age, I am thinking this will not present itself. I love the car!

Does the factory back up camera hook up to the new radio or is that the camera that came with the radio

I did not hook up the factory back up camera. All I did was add the 7" Carpuride monitor above the Genesis screen so that I could still use the Genny Screen as well as Apple Car Play on the Carpuride Monitor. Great question!
