Yeah, I think there are a lot of unwanted variables in these videos.

• Hidden mods
• Fuel quality/octane
• Dealer vs owner cars - owners generally know how to get the best out of their car (brake boosting, shift points, launch types etc)
• Outright cheating (like the TLX video and short shifting)

It's disappointing.

Man, a lot of that is him purposely not hitting the pedal on time, or short shifting. Also, could be he is an incompetent goon only interested in our dollars. Hmmmm...

I'm glad others have the same views about this guy as I do. I've watched some of his videos and it seemed like he was late on the launch pretty often. I didn't want to say anything because I thought I was just nit-picking, or being a sore loser, so it's nice to hear more experienced drivers mimic the same sentiment.

I wish he swapped drivers during the runs to make it more even. But hearing that he's not even using stock cars...really hurts his credibility.

I also don't think it helps that he's making these videos with owners. It's not exactly...unbiased, the owners obviously want to prove they have the faster car, as can be seen by the c43 jumping the launch twice.

Yea I did. Had to turn the volume up but then it's really obvious. Not sure if he short shifted or let off the throttle and the car shifted itself.

Either way, pretty pathetic. He seems very slimy.

I just knew the stinger had a mod . Either way this guy sucks as a driver and I would say this even if the G70 won.

Oh boy, I've been watching his videos for a few weeks and he defiantly seems off as the G70 is nearly always losing...by a lot to comparable vehicles. I understand a 392 Hemi will beat a G70, but losing that badly to a Stinger and even a Type S? C'mon man...

Not quite, in every race, but he lets off and is awful at launching the G70.

He's being a little immature in the comments and it only adds to the disingenuous nature of his "reviews".

No, the G70 crushed the Type-S. In the second race, the driver massively short shifted but still stayed ahead.

The G70s he's running are from dealerships and aren't broken in, likely running 87 octane. It actually seems like he's losing on purpose. I would never call someone out like that but based on the 2nd TLX race, I have no trust in his races.

^ exactly. these guys do a good job overall with their comparos. they launch like an owner would in the real world, and their roll tests are representative as well. that comparo was spot on. we know the G70 should be quicker/faster than the Stinger since it is lighter - and it is. and yup, that TLX is heavy and underpowered as we've known for a while.
