  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there a trick to setting up home link on rolling code garage doors? I didn’t have any issue getting it working on my Tesla Model 3, but I can’t get it working on my gv70. It says to hold it down for 2 seconds 3 times while the garage opener learning mode is on but it doesn’t do anything to me except show the blinking “I’m trying to learn” indicator the first and third times with the second turning that off.

Once you do that you need to go to your garage door motor. On the back should be a button (mine is purple) press that purple button, then press your home link button for the door that you programed as you said above. That should be it.

Yeah, mine’s red. Sounds like this might be more than user error on my part.

Please try pairing it with the garage visor remote.

I have had occasion to do this on three different GV"s the first was difficult till I found the answer then simple on the next two.
First even though I have a "smart" door opener motor. You use the method with the hand held remote ,then go to the step where you push the button on on the door opener. Works like a charm.

Thanks. Finally got a battery for my garage door opener and using that first fixed it.
