Navigation Inaccuracy

Good afternoon all, I just recently updated my 2015 Genesis Ultimate and now my navigation won't work properly. Whenever I search for an address and start navigation, the HUD just has the orange arrow saying "X" miles away. Also the navigation screen itself works fine except that whenever I go a different way from the route suggested, it never updates. Is it possible I some how updated the car incorrectly? It worked fine before the uodate. I went from update 7 to the newest. Downloaded to a new SD card, inserted it into the car and after the navigation reset, I had the new update. I wasn't able to go to the update screen in the settings and tap update. Navigation settings say I am receiving and shows multiple satellites. My screen follows the car and shows where I am, albeit it does show I'm not in the center if the road. I put the old SD card that came with my cat back in and still have the same issue. Car has 53k and I'm 100% lost with where to go from here. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I had problems updating my navigation with an SD card. The solution to the problem is to put the update files on a thumb drive and update the navigation from there. That works for me anyway.

Okay sounds good. I'll give that a try

Just make sure you have a high speed 32 GB card in the slot. I had the update files on both the SD card AND the thumb drive.

The interface never gave me the update option until I copied the the files to a thumb drive and plugged it in.

The issues with mine were sound related so this is a shot in the dark.

I would also double check to make sure you have downloaded the correct update files...

I got them straight from the site on a brand new SD card class 10 and everything. I'm thinking I'm also going to unplug the battery and see if everything resets and hopefully works that way. Thanks for the help.

Perhaps a reset of the head unit too.

So I plugged in a USB drive and was able to reupdate everything. So far no issues! Tha k you for the help! I also just saw the text message response setting for the first time so that's awesome!

Glad it worked! I had all kinds of odd sound issues and tried several SD cards, looked all over the forums and was stumped. On a whim I tried the thumb drive and everything worked perfect after that!

I have the 3d option and milk, mocha and the other color option. I had those on my mom's kia optima and hate the color choices but I love that it works now!
