Adaptive versus standard cruise xontrol

Adaptive. To switch to regular hold down the button on the steering wheel for a few seconds. It will notify you on the dashboard it's switched.

Thanks but that does not work. They only options are to increase/decrease following range or on/off.

I have but it is kind of vague as to if my model actually has a standard mode, kind of weird.

If your vehicle is equipped with Smart Cruise Control, you can convert to standard cruise control.

To Convert to Cruise Control Mode The driver may choose to switch to use the conventional Cruise Control mode (speed only control function) by following these steps: 1. Push the CRUISE button on the steering wheel to turn the system on. The cruise ( ) indicator will illuminate. 2. Push and hold the Vehicle-toVehicle Distance button for more than 2 seconds. 3. Choose between "Smart Cruise Control" and "Cruise Control". When the system is canceled using the CRUISE button or the CRUISE button is used after the engine is turned on, the Smart Cruise Control mode will turn on.

It does not give me that choice on my 2022 model. Maybe there is something wrong with my system? It is not a huge deal but when driving locally I prefer non-adaptive.

Standard CC is not available on the ‘22’s. Que sera, sera.

That’s what I was afraid off. And yes, through school zone and know speed camera areas. I appreciate the confirmation

If you do a hard press on the button you should get a speed limit monitor feature. Have you tried that out?
