Digital speedometer

I can’t find my digital speedometer in my genesis G70 2022 prestige

I have to check to refresh my memory regarding how to do it. I’ll do it tomorrow and let you know how unless someone else comes up with it first.

Take ten minutes and sit in the car and go through all the settings. You will find the digital speedo and a bunch of other interesting setting you are probably unaware of.

Just a guess on my part but if yours is like my G80 it is in the controls on the steering wheel.

This is a bit obscure but it works. Go to the screen with the fuel mileage, etc. Scroll until you see the “Plus” sign. Click once by pressing in on the scroll wheel. Now click again and hold. A screen will come up with check boxes available for different display features. Release. Now scroll down through this screen for the features you want displayed And click on ‘em. Good luck - it can be finicky at first, but you’ll get what you want, including the digital speed display.

No reason to, there are a lot of options. I'd also go through the setup again in 3 to 6 months as once you drive a while other setting may be better for you. Most of us have said "oh I forgot you could do that "

Thank you. This is one of the problems I’m having. I’ve pressed that plus sign many times but never knew I had to give it a long second push. Will try it tomorrow.

Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the DIS message telling me to take care break for coffee.

Also the one that shows a Bar Graph.

Only had that go off once in 33k miles. It was right, time for a break. It does watch your driving habits Don't recall if it can be turned off especially when it was correct on a long drive. It was after about 500 miles.

When I try to page through (mode button) for the digital dash .. I just get the Driver Assist and a Compass .. How do I get to Utility View to see the digital spedometer ... I already did the settings things and put a blue check mark on it .... It's just the page/paper looking buttong not going there ... Any ideas ? I just got the car 3 days ago, go easy on me

In the same page where you would hold for checking/unchecking content, scroll the wheel near your right thumb instead. You will cycle through the ones you have selected for display

Yeah, I did that part, after the "+" and long ok hold... If I turn the car off and back on, how do I get it to display .... My understanding is that the page/paper looking button would take me to that view (Utility view) but I don't see it .. when i hit the page/paper button it just goes to a compass or driver assist (picture of car in a lane) ... .... I really hope it's not broken and I'm just overlooking something stupid.

If I remember right you need to press the page/paper button again to get to Utility and then scroll until it appears.

Yup .. That was my expected behavior ... Ugh .. Maybe there is a setting somewhere to enable 'Utility' view mode ... sad times .. really dont want to take the car to the dealer over something so minor ... If anyone can give me an answer, I'll send you a $10 amazon gift card, lol, for saving me a trip to the dealer

If you can see the plus sign, you’re in the Utility screen. Just scroll up or down until you see the desired item.

according to the manual .. picture 1 , i should be able to toggle through 3 views ... I only get 2 of the 3 views .. i am missing the third one (picture 2)
