2022 G70 3.3 RWD - tires won’t let loose

I have the 2022 g70 RWD model. When I’m in sport plus the traction control is off as well as the stability …however when I try to do a burnout or “spin then up” On normal conditions or In the rain the system still will not let the tires spin. It will lose traction and tires spin for 1-2 seconds then the power is cut , very annoying . I chose the rwd model to have fun and drift a little. Why doesn’t it let the tires go completely with stability and traction off ? any insight on this would be great! Thanks all

Ckon, thanks for the reply. I did that, holding it for 10sec releases the stability control , but still they lock up after a second of spinning

22 G70 owner as well, honestly I haven't tried doing a burnout with BOTH traction control and stability control off, I'm kinda scared I'm gonna mess things up or crash lol

You have turned off stability control too right? By holding the traction control button for 5 seconds?

I spun my car a couple times, the 2019 at least turned all the way off. Standing burnouts...no. But as soon as some steering angle was dialed in I could donut like a mofo

I been trying to figure out the same thing with the same car for 2 years. Later I’m going to try in manual 2nd gear.
