I'm picking up a 2021 Havana Red with 3D cluster on Friday. I will say that I can confirm that there is a way for the sales guys to search for and specify the 3D clusters when they are searching for cars. However, most dealers do not give the salespeople access and most the sales managers wouldn't know where to look either.

You're right! In some dealerships, it's like a special privilege that only the GSM's or DRM's (Dealer Relations Manager) have. Make sure to post pics of your new car!

Definitely, I'm eSigning everything from my house remotely. It's kinda cool, hopefully nothing shows it down. I'm purchasing across state lines. There's always a registry issue.

I think the best place to get this kind of information is on forums specialized in detailing, like https://www.autogeek.net (to buy) and Autogeekonline Auto Detailing Forum (forum) You will learn there that you should avoid all wax based products: shampoo, coating, quick detailer.... In short, you will find everything you need: they are real experts in detailing.

Do your homework - there are a lot of great sites out there. The dealer basically told me to read the Genesis Matte Car Finish guide and sign the acknowledgement form. lol

I already notice the active exhaust in Sport+, it's a far better improvement.

I’m definitely disappointed re: the lack of the digital 3D cluster. I wonder why they witheld it from the US.

It’s likely the 3d display and power trunk were withheld due to chip shortage.

Idk they were still able to give a half digital cluster and every other model power trunk.

How’s that Matte paint holding up?

I love the paint. Even though you need to hand wash it - it clean up easy and when it is dusty or dirty you dont see it has much. Also on the Gray you don't really even see fingerprints etc.

That’s good to hear. I’ve only ever seen the white in person and that looked good, so I can only imagine the gray. Did you do anything extra? Expel stealth? Ceramic coating?
