New G70 Running Hot?

Just got my new G70 and drove it home today. When my wife came out to see it, she said she noticed a slight burning smell. When I got out of the car, I smelled the same thing too; nothing crazy, but definitely there. I also noticed that the hood was still fairly hot to the touch about 2 hours after the car was off and in the garage. Anything to be concerned about?

The turbos produce crap loads of heat, so that's normal. Sometimes I pop my hood if I've been driving hard and it's really hot out... Probably no need but I feel better lol. Not sure about the burning smell.. though it's new, so could be that..

How hot was the actual temperature gauge? That's what really matters.

Good question. Since I didn’t find out until I the car was off, I didn’t think to turn car back on and check. I’ll definitely do it next ride. Assuming the gauge is on one of the info screens you can cycle through on the small display in front of driver?
