What's the latest status of 2010 navigation update?

I see a lot of long threads in this forum discussing the delay in getting navigation updates out, and I gather that there is a difference in the updates for the 2009 and 2010 models. But I am confused as to what is the status of the update for the 2010 Genesis.

My 2010 Genesis (Tech) is about two months old, and the map version is 03.00.00 2009.08.25.14. Is this the latest map? If not, is a newer map available at all dealers?

When I bought my car I got the dealer to put in writing that I would receive a free map update when it becomes available.

My 2010 Genesis (Tech) like yours two months old, has the same map version. All the threads have mostly been about updates to 2009 versions. I wouldn't hold my breath for an update this year to the 2010, IMO.

Hi Guys;
The map database you have is the latest available- do not expect a new update until early next year.
For those with 2009 models, the frustration saga continues as a new update was supposed to be available this last week. It was supposedly only available to dealers who would buy it from Map&Soft and charge whatever they wished for doing the update- supposed to take over 3 hours. This update contains exactly the same map version which is in the 2010's. I am not aware of any dealer who has purchased or received it yet.

I just bought a map update for my portable Tom Tom.
Couldn't wait any longer for them to rectify this disaster.
This is really frustrating.

You know the NAV is so bad I don't use it anyway so who cares about the map update. It needs a real update in the system for entering and how it gets you to the place you are going, tired of the around your elbow to get to your thumb, business. Hyundai proves everyday "they don't get it" when it comes to customer service for what they sell as a lux car.

The 2010 Map update is available from Mapnsoft.com at a price of 199$ (Dealer pricing is 145)

You will need to contact your dealership to order the part.
