  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm a taller guy, 6'3", so one of the first things I did in my 2020 G70 is check off all the boxes for easy access.

What I notice is that nothing happens when I turn the car off and open the door. When my wife uses the car and turns it off and opens the door, everything adjusts as normal.

Is there a seat length where the car simply says "well, he's far enough back anyway, best of luck!" Is it tied to the seat memory?

I want to get out of my car looking with finesse-looking like a sexy jaguar who just ripped off his shades while walking away from explosion. Currently it's more of beached whale approach where I roll out of the car until I find the strength to get up.

There's a max seat location for easy access that IMO is way too short. If your seat is behind that max seat length then the seat doesn't go back any further for easy access.

Even the "extended" option is too short. I don't think there's any way to adjust it.

Yes, once you are back at some point it will not go back more on exit. My only suggestion to increase your elegance is the Shaquille O'Neal Charm School.
