navigation updater issues for map download?

Some of the maps were stopped due to issues of some sort. They are supposed to be back when corrected but no date given.

thanks for the update. My subscription ends in a week. Hopefully I can get one last before it expires. =)

I also noticed the same issue for last 3 weeks. Help desk keeps saying check next week.

Your subscription to what? Whatever it is, it doesn't matter, map updates are free (at least for now) for Genesis owners.

I e-mailed them about the error message. This is what I rec'd back:

The update for vehicles with generation 5 and newer has been temporarily postponed for revisions. We do not have an ETA when it will be available again. We will try and make sure that you are notified once you are able to update. Please also note the the update should be available for purchase on 12/10 and based on the age of your vehicle the cost should be covered by Genesis Motor America upon release.

I'm still wondering why they stopped it. I updated to that version that they now postponed and not sure what bugs caused them to pull it.

So has anyone tried to order the sd?

Yea still not available to ship. Also too lazy to download it . I messaged them last week and they’re having supply shortages with the SD card. Probably won’t be till after the new year I’m guessing.

I just IM them and was told for the ‘19 G70 3.3 it won’t be available for shipping till after the 3rd of Jan at the earliest.

Just downloaded latest map update and not a big fan of what they did to the SXM display. Now a Huge digital channel number shown across the top which has no real benefit and all other favorites across the bottom but w/o the channel name, but rather just channel #? Like we’re supposed to remember which station name corresponds to each number. Not well thought out IMO.

I should be getting my update soon (today?) as I asked for the card. Anyway, might there be a display option that allows one to change what one sees with SXM? I agree, seeing only a number makes little sense.. especially since there is info on other radio stations as well.

Haven’t found any option to change the display, so doubt it.
