New GV70 2.5L Sport Prestige !!!

I've been shopping various cars including GV70. Had a lot of trouble even finding a GV70 2.5 to test drive that wasn't already sold. Even more impossible to find a 2.5 Sport with the 3 spoke wheel etc.
By chance I spotted a GV70 at dealer in Willow Grove PA today still wrapped in white protective stuff. Turns out it just came off the ship yesterday and wasn't sold yet. It's sold now!
2022 GV70 AWD 2.5T SPORT PRESTIGE Black/Aquamarine w/Red stitching.
Dealer sells for sticker, which was $54,960 w/Cargo & Mud Guards. Added Tire/Wheels @ $1,000 and Zurich Ext Warranty @ $1,500. OTD TTT just over $61k. I did not plan on buying the sport with 21" wheels but pulled the trigger anyway. Sorting out how to tweak all the settings is gonna take a while. Sales guy was from Korea so I think I got a very thorough review of the car and he setup a lot. It's pretty amazing all the stuff they engineered into this car.
Couple things...
They told me Genesis will not be delivering GV70, GV80 for a while. Think the chip thing and other supplier issues has caught up with Genesis production. They said no new orders are being accepted and some existing orders may be cancelled. Bummer if this is accurate info.
Regarding the tires. I'm told the Michelin Premacy's are like $800+! Is this true? Kinda hard to swallow. What are the best choices for replacement rubber?

I have the same trim and haven’t looked at the cost of replacement tires - although I am scared since they are 21”.

If they’re not delivering GV70 for awhile, I’m glad I got it when I did. I’m planning on getting Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 from Tirerack when the OEM wears out. I also have the 21” and they are $1552 for set of 4.

Congrats! I have same trim and color combo here in the Chicago suburbs. Bought last week. MSRP. I'm jealous of your mud guards!! Can't get from Genesis parts or aftermarket yet. Thats the only difference between our cars I think. Can you post a photo of the mudguards when you can? Curious what they look like. Thanks!

On closer inspection, those mud guards look really low profile. Does anyone on the forum who has these, have any impressions from driving over wet leaves or snow. Are they effective?

Search this forum for mudflaps. There is a Korean seller on eBay that many have used. I ordered last week but don’t have them yet (though just got a note they cleared customs so maybe sometime next week). About 150 for all 4, much bigger than the OEM ones. No drilling required.

That's the case in the United States. In Canada, only the most basic trim of the 2.5 lacks rear passenger climate control.
