I'm presently the owner of a 2017 G80 3.8 AWD (Mid-range model) with 41K miles in Caspian Black. About a week my poor baby was rear ended by someone going about 50 miles an hour with me at a dead stop. I came out okay, a little banged up. The other car was significantly smaller than mine (Toyota Scion IM), causing the other car to go underneath the back end of mine, destroying the trunk floor, demolishing the back bumper, damaging the exhaust system, the car no longer starts and the electrical system works just enough for the lights to turn on but nothing else, and who knows what else. The impact pushed my G80 into the car in front of my, resulting in my front grill and SCC radar being cracked as well. My airbags did not deploy but the other car did total. I don't know if it's totaled yet. I just signed the paperwork at the collision center to have the estimate done. Their insurance won't budge on using strictly OEM parts and tell me it would be mix of OEM, Used, LKQ parts, depending on what's available. What would a fix like this typically cost? Do you think it's totaled?
