Cause: Trees losing leavesTree leafs accumulating under the hood on both side. What could be causing it and how to remedy it? Weird

Remedy: Cut down trees
I had it with every car for 40 years in my previous house. We had a lot of trees.
You can call it non-helpful, but it is accurate.Ha ha. Not helpful. Car is garaged. Live in a forested area. The leafs blow in somehow and get caught, poking out between the hood and front quarter.
Thanks joegr. That’s definitely helpful. Got the car in late November. The leafs get up into the upper fender well area and then protrude through the edge of the hood on both side. Looks stupid on such a beautiful car. I’m going to see if I can at least block them from protruding by putting aYou can call it non-helpful, but it is accurate.
They come in from between the windshield and the hood (the area where the wipers are). The ventilated area on the right side (right side if you are seated in the car facing forward, left in the picture) is the fresh air inlet for the climate control. There's no way to block off that area.

same with the 2015. collects leaves in both corners.

Any comments? The same thing is happening with "older" model. I have a '18 and to get rid of them, I had to remove the bracket with ECU/TCU, vacuumed and put it back.
I thought, I had a nest in there.
Depending where you live, pine needles too. Can't see them when driving and I don't lift the hood often enough to be concerned about them. That might work. Just be careful blocking any areas that could restrict airflow or water flow.
If it happens when the car is sitting, maybe put a tarp over it. If it happens when the car is driving, not sure what to say. Sounds like you live in a beautiful area with lots of trees.
FWIW, I have found leaves under my hood and all my cars, forever.
Yes, be careful not to block air getting to the climate control inlet. If you create too much resistance*, it may be able to suck some air from the engine compartment, which could have fumes in it....I’m going to see if I can, at least, block them from protruding by putting a small strip of automotive foam seal along the outer and under edge of the hood.
