  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New Official 0-60 Thread

That's super interesting. My Lozic tune is 18-19 Psi as well. That makes alot of sense as to why it's so fast.
Yep. Boost isn't everything. Car runs a lot faster with lower boost and more timing (with proper octane).

I only run Charge Pipe Injection with E40 to E50 and my logs are beautiful haha.

Sorry, holiday times are hectic. We'll get everything updated. Congrats on new PBs. Videos are always welcome and cool.

New best here! Only change is drop in AEM filters(doubt they had any effect). So 22 3.3t on factory Michelin tires. About 3/4 tank of gas. Did pull out a 2.05 60’ and 8.28 1/8 mile as well, both personal bests in this car.

Auto shifting or manual? Earlier shifts are better

That was auto shifting in sport(not plus). Is it quicker shifting earlier manually? I’m still very much learning the car still. Just a hair over 2k miles. If so what rpm do you find best?

People who run 1/4 miles a lot say around 4800-5200 is when you should shift, depending on the gear. by the time the gear changes it's 5500-5700. My Lozic TCU shifts at 5700 - it seems early but the cars power drops off after that, so best to stay in the power band. The problem though, is timing the shifts. Not the easiest thing!

I will give that a go and see what happens! I’ve had manual shifting capabilities on other vehicles but always found letting it do its own thing was quicker.

Holidays were busy and i never got around to posting this. DA gods on my side, but a new PB is a new PB 😁. This was on 12/05/2021. Car is still the same.

@Genny Guy3.4912/05/21BMS Intake, LOZIC ECU, TCU, and AWD, muffler delete, stock intercooler, Michelin Primacy Tour A/S, no WMI, no CPI, HKS sparks, BMS OCC, 93 octane, full interior

Congrats on all the improvements! Getting the 60' down will help your 1/4 mile so much.

I'll give it a go. I can't gut my car cause being a single dad i have to take my daughter around every day. So mine is always fully interior.

Best so far is 3.18. Only a few guys have broke into the high 2's. Waiting on some more mods and we will see if i can break into the 2's

I know exactly how you feel. Besides, one of the reasons to buy the G70 IS the interior. Crime to gut it for a tenth or 2. I'm gonna eventually add some lighter wheels, maybe even go down to 18"s. I'll remove spare tire and if I can catch an extra cheap carbon hood (cheap for me, not the item), I'll do that and see where I land this summer.

Thats about what I do. I have my 18's that i bought for the track. Then they shut down the tracks for good around here which sucks. The spare tire i did take out a while ago though and sits in my garage.

maybe one day ill gut the car and see if i can hit 10's.

I'm such a noob. I still haven't ran with the spare tire out 🤣

That's a great time for stock. Details? LC, Fuel, Shift points or auto?

No launch control. I brake boost to about 1500-1600 rpm, just prior to launch control kicking in. With launch control I’m around .15-.2 slower to the 60’ and in turn to 60mph. It’s fun but slower. I run exclusively shell 93 fuel, no particular reason beyond being the most easily accessible top tier gas around me. I have not yet tried to shift on a timed run with paddles so only auto for me as of now. I might try it out at some point soon to see what happens. Apparently shifting a little early is quicker. The absolute biggest thing on this run was the da being almost a half mile below sea level! I guarantee this thing won’t run those numbers in summer air. I also run in sport vs sport + mode. The shifting seems more consistent in sport for some reason.

Let’s add some 2.0T for lollerskates.

Specs:
Custom tune with 1.65 bar (~24 psi) boost
Custom hybrid turbo (2 mm increase on the wheels)
Stock TCU
Honda S2000 air filter in stock inlet pipe
Subaru GDB FMIC
Magnaflow 200 cells catalyst
Custom 3” exhaust
245/45/18 winter tyres
Weds Velva Sport wheels (~9.3 kg each)
RON100 fuel, around 3/4 of the tank

Won’t be updated unfortunately, would’ve likely be 4.5- time on tuned TCU it runs now. Maybe better as the launch control on hybrid turbo was fairly lackluster back then.
