Need Guidance on Placement of front wings

Try looking in the picture section of this fourm, you might get some ideas..............where ever it looks good to you for placment.

This is the page where I discussed how I located the front badge. It ended up just under one inch from the top of the chrome grill.

Originally, I wasn't going to install the badge but my wife convinced me to. Now that it is on, I'm really glad I did. IMHO, the front badge really adds to the luxury look of the vehicle. All other luxury vehicles have front badges. Without it, the car had a generic look...like store brand beer.

I think I used 1-1/8" from the front.

Just got a reply back from a Korean member.
I asked for the exact gap measurement between the grill lip(on the hood) and the emblem.
Answer: 23mm which is about .9"

It might appear odd for you, but once you go see Seoul filled with KDM Genesis' w/ the stock wing emblem, US version looks weird without it.
I didn't like the emblem at first, but after 2 weeks of looking at the 'original'(?) version, I kinda like it.

D_mn, Mine is 24mm. Now it will always bother me!!!

And another two cents worth....
I placed my wing about 1 1/2 inch above grill, didn't like it so I moved it back very slowly for about 190 inches, turned it around 180 degrees, and guess what? It looks damn good back there, I think I'll keep it there. And additionally Im ordering the chrome door pillars (Big thanks to Midnightsun). I'm gonna like them, too.

I came to the same conclusion, but to each their own. At least if he wants it on the hood, we now know the exact distance!

We could install ours on the underside of the hood, where the exact placement is less critical

You did a great job guesstimating the distance by moving back and forth looking for the right curvature.
