  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This may be premature to ask, but any hints of a significant price increase for 2011?

I'm sure they'll be adding stuff, so that's a yes.

In addition, the Won has grown versus the dollar nearly 40% from the time the Genesis launched here in the states. Hyundai's not dumb either, I would expect the MSRP to steadily increase along with features by 1-2k each year - nothing too drastic at first.

I can see a gradual increase in price, but the Genesis success must be a combination of style, quality, innovation, and SUBSTANTIALLY undercutting the competition's pricing. That pricing edge needs to stay in place as a major ingredient to selling cars in the luxury category. The Hyundai name alone is certainly not going to contribute sales in the luxury market as we can see with so many rebadging posts.

From what I've been reading, it looks like close to $6,000 off MSRP for the V8+Tech is feasible.

Paid $34,450 in Los angeles, for my V6 white with saddle interior. Premium and navigation. Sticker is $38,485
Hey - you got $50 better price than I did. I'm gonna sue! :p

2009 V6 Premium Plus Package $36,000 sticker. Got it for $25,990 before tax and title. It never had been titled but had 6,000 miles on it. Driven by the dealer and the service manager. Came off the line in June of 08 and had been on the dealers lot since later in 2008.

Just got my 2010 4.6 Platinum/Black with Tech Package for $38K and change, plus TTL. In addition to the great deal through Costco Auto Program, there was a "competitor" rebate/incentive from the manufacturer for non-Hyundai owners. Given the unexpected additional savings I decided to splurge on the KDM wheel caps and badges. :)
