Hey man, did you ever go through with the chrome delete?

nah still rocking chrome because i think it works on dark cars, but chrome delete looks really good on white and silver G70s.

2019 G70 Sport Chrome Delete. Did pretty much everything including the window trim and mirrors. Also removed the HTRAC emblem on the back. Overall pretty happy with it.

I have the same car to a T and that'd the look I want. Did you end up doing this yourself or have a pro do it? If you did it yourself, may I ask what you used? Thanks!

Hey Otis. Old thread so sorry for chiming in now. I have the Mallorca 2021 3.3 sport as well. Just booked an appointment for a chrome delete after seeing this post last night because your car looks awesome. Is that a satin black, gloss or matte you put on there?

I went with the satin finish. Almost two years and the job is still holding up. If I had to do it again, I might not have done the grill because the camera protector stands out a lot more.

Thank you. I appreciate the reply. The shop I’m using refuses to touch the middle of the grille. Which I respect because it’s a nightmare. So they’re going to do the frame but not the center. Do you think your car would look stupid if the center was still the stock smoked chrome? Everything else will be the same as yours. I’m not kidding you I started drooling when I saw your car last night. Absolutely love the way it looks with the blue.

Thanks! I love it too. The grill is really intricate and it took them a few tries to get it right. I would just skip the grill all together including the centre

You’re right. I may just leave the border of it alone too. That “smoked” chrome just becomes old school bright chrome so fast on these cars…
