  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Driving a Dodge Charger rental while my car is getting repaired, my observations so far compared to the G70.

Damnit, my 19 Ram 1500 didn't come with the Coors light. It's still quieter inside at 70 than an S class. Or most Genesis's. My gv80 and the Ram I own are about sixes. At least the ram has more cup holders😂

I recently bought a fully loaded 3.3t G70 and I'm looking to sell my Charger Scat-Pack (392 motor). The Charger wasn't a bad car at all. HUGE compared to the G70. So it was great when my kids were still around. It's a 2016 but still had huge Brembo's, adaptive cruise control, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, auto brights, lane assist...pretty much most of what you would want. It was a fun car and a monster in a straight line....and that exhaust note! If anything it was sometimes too loud.

That being said I prefer a vehicle that is fast in a straight line.....AND around curves! :giggle:

Does it come with a wife beater t shirt, a mullet wig, and a six pack of Coors?
What stupidity are you trying to imply? The wife beater, mullet wig and Coors go along with Camaro owners. I'd never own that trash.

Nice whips
Thank you! We enjoy them both. My gf and I swap them every couple weeks. If ya drive the Charger gently it actually gets better gas mileage as well. I have a company car as well so we are taking turns letting one of them sit for a few days at a time. I'm letting General Electric pay for the gas 😂

I've owned a V8 since I was 18 and anytime I gave it up within months I was back in another one. Those were all Mustangs/Ford F-150. I can't stand Chevrolets. Cheap ass looking interiors. The Charger I love the look, sound and the interior.

My G70 clicked off every box I had for an upscale classy looking car that was also quick. Its a toss up which one to drive!!!

Interesting. I'm definitely getting better mileage with my G70 then I ever did with my 392. Driving them the same, which is not super hard but occasionally getting on it. I would usually average 17-18 mpg mixed in my Charger, and 21-22mpg with the G70. Straight freeway trips will yield better with both - but the 392 was terrible around town. Just idling at a red light I'd see the gas gauge go down LOL

I averaged about the same in my 392 Charger as the G70. I averaged 23mpg in my 392...I'm currently averaging 24 in my 3.3t G70. But, I do a lot of highway driving. Charger got 25-26 at 80 mph on the highway. G70 is getting 26 at 80 mph

I can see that. On the highway the 392 is not bad with the MDS - but around town it's terrible! The G70 definitely does better around town.

Hahaha! Chrysler is still affiliated with Fiat correct?

I remember a friend told me what Fiat stands for :): Fix It Again Tony :ROFLMAO:
