Audi lost my interest when I was on the "build and price" page and they were charging extra for rear air bags. Sorry, safety features like this should be built in, not a money grab. Next!

Audi for the past 10-15 years have typically not included rear air bags. Always been that $400-$500 option.

The rationale is that if you have children in the back in a child seat, it may be safer without them.

Look at any audi sitting on the lot at the dealership, they typically don't order them with the airbags. Not to keep price down, but because most people don't want them.

That's interesting. It makes more sense than them doing this to keep it under the threshold to qualify for rebates. Thanks.

I just spoke to my dealer this morning and he told me that they were told by Genesis Canada that pricing for the GV60 would be available by 'the end of March'. He said that he is expecting pricing by end of today.
Personally, I don't think much of him...he does't seem to know anything frankly.
However, if I do get anything on this I will post it right away..

No way the Gv60 Performance is under 80 grand cad , if its priced low 70S it would sell well but the Ioniq5 and Ev6 are going for low 60s

Korea is ahead of us. It’s already April there.
Also, Canadian prices determined in Canada.

Hmmm… The only problem is, the sales staff (not that they really know much more than we do) keep saying the same thing, only moving the date each time. I don’t believe it is connected with hype, it’s more likely just processing delays & no one wants to come out & say so.

I think Genesis would be foolish to announce pricing before next week's budget announcement. A few dollars difference in MSRP could be the difference between being eligible for thousands in rebates or not.

They could easily do a $59,999 base price, with some basic functionality stripped out making almost no one order that trim, and then option it up from there, just like the Ioniq5 Essential!
