If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan and I have been having this problem that whenever I turn off my car or whenever I try and start the car, the whole car just loses power. The only way to regain power is to move the battery around until it comes back on. Has anyone had this problem before and is there a solution? Thanks

Have you cleaned the terminals and had the battery and charging system tested?

Loose battery cable (either cable at either end), or cracked/loose fuse on the positive battery cable terminal. It seems that several have experienced this.

ive cleaned the terminal and that only gave me a temporary fix for a couple months and also replaced the battery and it still gave the same problem so we switched out battery again and still ended up having the same problem. These past 2 months it’s been happening every time I get out or try and turn the car on. I tried cleaning it but it’s still doing it a lot now.

I will have to take a look at the fuse. Any clue on where to replace it? Also I should have mentioned that it was rebuilt when I bought it 2 years ago but there was no damage to the back of the car. Not sure if that could have anything to do with the problem

It is a known issue that the fuse block on the battery terminal is made from hot garbage - I'd replace it.

I had same issue, bought new battery and bought issue continued, bought a new fuse to go in the unit that attaches to the battery and then the cable goes into the rest of the car. Part # 18980 05959 Hyundai dealer $18.00
